You’ve got questions, we’ve got answers!
Please take a look at the New Patient page, it will give you more information about how a first visit works at Seven Bridges Chiropractic. You can also watch a video example here.
You will know when you will feel relief. I understand you might have some objections because I had them too, long ago when I was a chiropractic patient for the first time. Let me tell you a quick story that helped me realize what chiropractic does. I grew up on a horse farm, and once, one of the horses was lame and couldn’t show. To my younger self’s surprise, a chiropractor flew in, adjusted the horse, and a couple of days later, it went and performed better than ever and won the class. This helped me notice how much better a horse could get from having its joints unrestricted and how much better I could get if I took care of mine! – Dr. Dalton
New patient appointments take between 45 minutes and an hour. Follow-up appointments are usually 15 minutes, but can be up to 30 minutes. In our office your appointment time is the time you will be seen, no need to spend your day in the waiting room for hours 🙂
Chiropractors treat a variety of conditions. They are mainly known to treat neck and back pain, headaches, migraines, disc herniations, and sciatica. But there are plenty of other conditions they treat, such as carpal tunnel, forward head posture (text neck), immune function, ear pain, TMJ dysfunction, rotator cuff or shoulder pain, ankle sprain, extremity pain, radiculopathy, stress, whiplash, and vertigo and balance issues. The list can go on and on. At Seven Bridges Chiropractic, we focus on providing holistic care to get you back to feeling good. If you are still questioning if a chiropractor can help with your problem, please call our office, and we will be happy to help.
Come dressed in whatever you feel comfortable in. We suggest clothes with a little give due to some of the movements Dr. Dalton will want you to be able to move into.
We believe in providing care to everyone in Jacksonville and are committed to giving our clients the best possible rate. For this reason, we chose not to be in the network with any major insurance. This way, we can maintain accessible rates and treat you based on what you truly need instead of what your insurance allows you to access. However, you are more than welcome to use your HSA and FSA cards, and we can also provide you with a superbill to submit to your insurance company.
Absolutely! The reason we offer low cash, packages, and member rates is that we want to take care of everyone in our community, and we believe patients who invest in their own health and wellness deserve recognition.
If you have any payment or office-related questions, please feel free to call into the office and talk directly to Dr. Dalton about them!
If you choose to book a session with us, we will request a credit card. This is just our system procedure to be able to book and ensure payment. After your session, you can always choose if you want to use the card on file or if you want to pay in cash, debit or using a different card. Our system is 100% secure and your information will be safe and protected.
We have plenty of spots in our building’s parking lot. If for some reason these spots are full, there is plenty of free street parking on one of the surrounding streets.

About Chiropractics
Yes, chiropractors earned a Doctor of Chiropractic Degree. While they can’t write prescriptions, they are fully qualified to diagnose and treat conditions related to the musculoskeletal system as well as nerve pain. Chiropractors are portal of entry doctors, meaning if they feel Chiropractic isn’t the right fit for your case they can refer you to the right specialist.
A chiropractor is a health professional that specializes in our neuromusculoskeletal system (bones, nerves, muscles, tendons, and ligaments). They undergo 4 years of undergrad school and then another 4 years of Chiropractic School to earn their doctoral degrees. Chiropractors can help treat a vast amount of conditions, such as headaches, neck pain, back pain, joint pain, arthritis, sciatica, sports rehabilitation, and more. Check all our services here.
A chiropractor works to nurture and take care of a patient’s neuromusculoskeletal system by utilizing different adjustment techniques and exercises. They perform spinal manipulation, trigger point therapy, soft-tissue treatments, massage therapy, rehabilitation exercises, and more, depending on the patient’s needs. You can check all our services here.
Chiropractic fees can fluctuate significantly between practitioners. While some may collaborate with insurance providers, resulting in costs tied to individual insurance plans, others opt for a direct-pay model, bypassing insurance altogether. At our office, we embrace the latter approach, prioritizing your financial well-being and minimizing the potential for unforeseen medical expenses down the road.
To become a chiropractor, you need to attend undergrad school. Many chiropractor programs require at least 3 years of study or a Bachelor’s Degree. Once you have completed your undergrad studies, you can attend a Chiropractor Program to earn your Doctor of Chiropractor Degree, which takes around 4 years and includes clinical rotations. After earning your degree is time to get your License by passing a series of national board exams conducted by the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners (the requirements might vary from state to state, so be sure to check on your location). After your License, you can practice or choose to specialize in particular areas like sports or pediatrics. After you finish all your studies, you will still need to assist to seminars and courses from time to time to keep up to date and maintain your licensure.
Clarence Selmer Gonstead was a chiropractor who created his own technique. Chiropractors who practice this technique are called Gonstead Chiropractors. His method is holistic and consists on studying the causes of pain, it focuses in restoring your body’s optimal functionality and overall well-being through precise spinal adjustments.
